The Snow Elf
A downloadable game
Waking in a strange land with no memory of who or what he is, a young man must travel the world to discover his origins and try to get back home.
Welcome to the world of Saldaria, the world in which our tale takes place. Battle through a variety of elemental enemies, unlock the secrets of the Snow Elves alongside your three companions, and see this tale through to its happy - or perhaps not! - conclusion.
Started in March 2020 and completed in November 2020, The Snow Elf is our first project. As such, while it has been playtested, bugs may remain and we ask that they be reported for fixing. As of January 2021 we have ascertained that a few remain and will be uploading an amended version soon.
We hope you enjoy playing The Snow Elf as much as we enjoyed building it!

Help!
Felluin got removed from my party some short time after I visited the Sylvanian Embassy in Osmia (and I overwrote my only save before I noticed). Also all of Eviron's special skills, except for Blind, have disappeared together with Felluin and Lily now has a new Special option in her fight menu, despite not having any special skills. I also have an another, much more detrimental bug to report: everytime I enter the docks, after giving the knife to the Trade Disctrict guard, I can't move and open the menu, making me unable to progress the story, as I just finished the underground city. Would you please fix these bugs? And will it be possible to get the fix without losing my progress?
(There are also two less important bugs I came across:
1. at the very start of the game, in Cherry Town, talking the NPC Charlotte triggers a Lily dialogue that keeps repeating forever. I had close the game and load a save I made before talking to Charlotte to resolve this.
2. something similiar happens with the message board near port Lansmoor: the dialogue for the Pirate Island quest worked normal the first time, but when I returned near the board before completing the quest the dialogue would start again and the screen would go black. I didn't experience this after completing Pirate Island.)

Hello! I'm so sorry to hear that you've come across these bugs. But thank you so much for bringing them to our attention!
We'll have a look and see if we can find the problems in the events, but unfortunately if we release an update it will not keep your save. However, you can back up your saves independently and put them back in to the new versions files.
Also, I have to admit i didnt think anyone was playing this! It was a lockdown project and the first and only game I've ever made. Reading your comment made me so happy! X

So, if I understand things correctly, all I need to do is backup the file Save01.rvdata2 (I only used one save slot) and place it in the new extracted folder after the update?
Hey! I am currently building a DnD campaign for some friends and by sheer coincidence thought of the same name for my starting continent as you guys did for this game. I was doing a bit of reading on your wiki and love the world. Would it be ok if I used some of your lore and world-building in my campaign?

I...... guess it is a bug
I can meet this guy in the very beginning, when I talk to him, I will arrived at the place in the right picture, and I can see the other three character even I haven't met them when I keep going to the stair.......
